Hi Steve,

I used to love alcohol, but I can't drink it anymore. Please be careful when consuming alcohol if you are taking MTX or even Pred, and pain meds. I had a horrible drug interaction when I first was diagnosed with SD and developed an acute pancreatitis as a result. Alcohol was not a factor at the time. I was told to never drink again. I did make the mistake of taking a few drinks and ended up in the hospital with another bout of pancreatitis. In all, I've had 13 major pancreatic attacks and have chronic pancreatitis now. Yes, we have to let our hair down, but if you are on meds, please watch your alcohol consumption. It could cost you your life.

Much love,

Terry
