Guest guest
Jan, That makes me want to cry. I can remember feeling that my husband was working against me he had become evil and was even turning my kids against me. I have thought he was poisoning me, even sneaking around behind my back and conspiring with others. I even accused him of fooling arond with someone. He couldn't console me because he was the enemy. I had become afraid of him. On the other side of the coin he didn't know what to do and I am sure was hurt by some of the things I did and said. Why is he still here? I have told him many times to get out and even showed him the door, but he loves me and I can't beat him offf with a stick. Now I know that it was disease related. I really do hate this disease and what it does to people....Hugs...Patti > Well, guess I'm going to have to have Jim tested for a > possible UTI. Guest guest
Jan, your email is so heartbreaking. I pray that Jim recognises you soon and that its just a UTI that clears up in no time. Guest guest
Jan, I don't have any suggestions for you but I did want to let you know that I am thinking about you and Jim. It can be very stressful not knowing what is causing the behavior besides having to deal with it. I think it was in yesterday's email that you mentioned he keeps calling you. Somedays dad was like that. There were days when I wish I had a pedometer to find out how much I was walking back and forth to his room. Then again maybe I'm better off not knowing. Hope you can get some rest and find out what is up. Gwen The Confusion Saga continues today Well, guess I'm going to have to have Jim tested for a possible UTI. Guest guest
my dad went thru hateful stage, everytime donnie went to nashville day before he would come home dad would turn absolutely hateful to me, calling me whore, slut, dirty bird, i was using him stealing form him, etc, had me in tears manytimes, at that time we didnt even know abut lbd, but i always knew it was part of his un nmaed disease. donnie sat down and talked to him, adn said that i have my own health problems and didnt need his hateful attitude and if it kept up he wouldnt think twice about packing me up and go back to nashville, that we were here becuase we want to be and to take care fo him ,but that didnt give him green light to become a true ass. i got angry with donnie for talking to daddy that way, but he did it in one of his lucid moments and daddy hasnt voiced words that hateful since. but i think it was more that stage was over then donnies talk, but i dont really know for sure. either way i am glad it is over~!!!!! hugs, sharon m a smile a day keeps the meanies away!!!
