Hi Steve,

I've seen several naturopathic doctors ( " ND " ) over the years. Most have

been somewhat helpful, though not enough to replace my traditional

treatments. Regarding the leaky gut syndrome, this is what one doc had me

do..... Eliminate all dairy, refined sugar, and wheat from my diet. After 2

weeks, introduce wheat back into your diet and see how you feel. After

another 2 weeks, same thing w/ dairy. Told me to avoid refine sugar as much

as I could. Have to admit I cheated on this a little bit, but it did help.

I do notice if I have too much dairy or sugar, I tend to feel worse overall.

While I was doing this, I was still living at home and we ate an almost

vegetarian diet due to my dad's heart problems. I think that definitely

made a difference as well. If only I could be as disciplined now!!

I think someone else mentioned Probiotics. I take something similar,

Primadophilus Bifidus (bacteria beneficial to the digestive tract). The

brand I buy is Nature's Way and you can find it online, at health food

stores or even some grocery stores. Learning biofeedback and relaxation

exercises has helped me with pain control as well as just improving my mood.

I wasnt able to learn these on my own, tried MANY times.... ended up seeing

a psychologist who specialized in pain management and it was very helpful.

If you find something that helps you out, please let me know!

Hi,

Primadophilus Bifidus is also supposed to be good for acne ... so for those like me who suffer from it because of the Pred, it could act as a '2 in 1' effect.
