Guest guest Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Hi Andi, I saw Dr Talbot today for a second time and we went over some of the issues we discussed last time, and results of my blood tests. I got a list of his available dates for surgery and I'll be trying to decide over the next week or so. I've every confidence in him - he's a great guy, I just have to work myself up to the idea of surgery. I'd never considered a lapband before the beginning of this year and have learned everything I know about it just in the last few weeks. I'm amazed at how many people write " I can't wait for my surgery! " or " 2 days till my surgery, whoo hoo! " . I don't feel at all excited (only nervous) and I'm wondering maybe something's wrong with me, why aren't I jumping for joy? I think it's fantastic that you're so close to your goal weight and exciting to see the changes in your face when you lost the first 10kgs! I'm sure you'll be a very beautiful bride! Luv Chriss PS All that talk about your 40 laps is making me exhausted! > > Hey Chriss.... > > Firstly I am so glad that you found the board and it is very useful > for you! > > Secondly, thank you very much....
