Guest guest
Funny enough, I did send back a reply, another attempt at humor, but for some reason it never posted. The yahoo internet gods must have intervened. Often good to take a deep breath and count to ten.....or one hundred in my case. I also mentioned he could easily unsubscribe. He was probably an annoyed Jets fan who was feeling frustrated at the time. All the best to him and better luck in future groups!....As was mentioned, it's all good!... Guest guest
My last post was actually in reference to this string. And as an aside, I'm seriously considering another 7 Aerogarden, w/ the sale on, and after hearing that they are organic/ and that growing your own has been very successful for others. I think the current sale ends tonight. To: sproutpeople From: 99tomatoes@... They aren't available now, but are so cool. A photo of it is under accessories on the aerogarden website.I am so excited about getting mine. Your post about the fresh herbs really got me. Guest guest
Congrats on the purchase n. I did see the wall unit-very cool. My only concern w/ 3 of them together might be how bright it would be. I have the one unit and it is very bright. I have 3 cookie trays around it to block out the light and reflect back on the plants better. They do sell reflectors which would do similar, but I'm going to create my own w/ some aluminum foil taped around a broken down cardboard box. Should help direct more light onto the plants , and keep the bright light out of my eyes. Once again, a basement or separate " plant " room would be sweet. To: sproutpeople From: drmarionrollings@... Guest guest
Thanks . I forgot how bright they are. This is great--with the aerogarden, I'll be growing a large percent of our food indoors. We eat a ton of sprouts and basil is a huge favorite in our house--I want to also grow cilantro but their seed kit doesn't come with it.have to eventually get one of those kits where you grow your own. n Rollings, PhDNJ Licensed Psychologist #4686www.DrnRollings.com Until we have the courage to recognize cruelty for what it is--whether its victim is human or animal--we cannot expect things to be much better in this world... Guest guest
You know, I was just thinking, an aerogarden might be helpful to people with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)-the bright light and greenery might alleviate some of the Winter doldrums. And because it requires little daily attention, even a very affected person could benefit. I am going to mention this to a few patients. I have mentioned sprouts to a few and am thinking sprouts might appeal to a few patients with eating disorders. n Rollings, PhD NJ Licensed Psychologist #4686 www.DrnRollings.com Sent from my IPod Touch > > Congrats on the purchase n.
