Hi All,

Just checking in and reading the comments and messages. Post op 2 weeks and 1

day--

down 21 lbs. feeling great considering I had major surgery. Friends have been

coming

over frequently and walking with me. Today the Quartet I sing with will be

coming for our

first practice since surgery. I have been working out my voice this morning and

hope I can

carry my weight--oops not weight any longer, my part--ha ha without much

trouble.

Had my whole house cleaned yesterday--yeah--sitting here and looking at the

place

made me want to get it up and clean it so thought better and hired it out this

time. A crew

of 6 came and cleaned top to bottom--got a real good deal only $275.00.

I am still eating a soft diet--doing well with it and adding things almost

daily--no dairy

yet just yogurt. Eggs are delicious and tuna, talapia, mashed potatoes, and

tofu all settle

real well. Got all of my vitamins, water, protein, and calcium yesterday for

the first time--

had to spread it out over the day but was finally successful. Hope all those

who had

surgery the same day as I did are doing as well.

If you are getting ready for surgery--remember walking is really the key to

recovery--

walk, walk, walk and remember when it hurts to walk right after surgery--that is

normal-

-surgery hurts, but getting sicker instead of better hurts more and walking will

help with

pain control, breathing, eating, general overall emotions.

I will be adding an album as soon as I figure it out. Bye for now. Robin
