Guest guest
Ok, I keep reading about different los with LBD talk about how one is acting or reacting, and then say something like " wonder if it is lbd or their past personality rearing its head? I know I have said that about my sister Ruth, and have read from several post about their loved one being that way. So what do this wonderful group of people who are so smart think about this? Could it be LBD or their past personality? Just wondering Jayn in S GA
Guest guest
I feel it's LB with my mom. She can be her sweet self and then get angry and frustrated and that is not her at all! Guest guest
Hi, Jayn, I don't know, but I think it probably affects each victim differently. Those who were tart before LBD might become pure vinegar. Others, who were sweet as sugar before LBD, may become tart. Some don't appear to change fundamentally, but I think the vast majority are far more paranoid, regardless of personality. I may be wrong, but that's the impression I've gotten by reading this group for over 2 yrs., and living with my mother as her LBD came to the forefront. I think, though I'm not really qualified to say, if you've noticed a relatively sudden change in Ruth's personality over the past few months or in the past year or two or three, it's probably Lewy causing it. It's **so** hard to change the way we react to our LBD LOs. We have lifetimes of familiarity with them, we have our roles memorized, and it takes the " healthy " ones much longer to come to grips with how our roles and relationships have changed, it seems to me. Guest guest
In my husband's case there is no question that it was the LBD. He was the most gentle and kind OB GYN. All his patients wrote to me after his death to tell how much his sweetness and kindness had meant to them Simmel personalities Ok, I keep reading about different los with LBD talk about how one is acting or reacting, and then say something like " wonder if it is lbd or their past personality rearing its head?
