Guest guest
Hello: My dad's two feet often swell. The doctor at the nh thinks this may be because he doesn't use them enough but I doubt that is true. My dad tries to get up as much as possible since his second surgery even though his physical capabilities have deteriorated significantly in the past little while (we suspect actually that his tumour is back...). I tend to agree that this swollen " stuff " is a manifestation of LBD. Abby
Guest guest
Abby, My dad's feet swell also. At first I thought it was because he lays across the bed and his feet hang, and aren't actually on the mattress. Right now his feet aren't swollen and he still lays in the same position. The doctor saw it the last time he was in and couldn't explain it. Must be part of the disease. Gwen Re: A swollen finger/Courage Hello: My dad's two feet often swell. Guest guest
Gwen: I think you're absolutely right about why your dad's feet swell. I'm certain it is LBD related although the doctor at the nh doesn't seem to know it. I'm glad to know that not only my dad manifests these symptoms. My dad's feet seem to be better now too which is good because it's truly the last thing that poor man needs. Hope your weekend is good. Guest guest
my dad has swollen feet and ankles and i dont know the name off the top of my blondish head right now. but it is from him having good blood flow to his feet but not good return blood flow back to his heart, so the blood seeps into the feet and ankles causing swelling, easily treated, keeping feet elevatedabove heart 15-30 minutes 4 times a day. and massaging legs and feet i put lotion on my hands and start from feet and work up legs. towards the heart. this all has helped. called something like peripheral ventricular discase???? sharon m. Guest guest
Swollen feet and ankles can be caused by water retention.
