It has been awhile since I watched the video, but I

think the attachment is to measure bar speed.

Tim,

The cable attached is the tendo unit. The weight changes are just editing. The

subject of how much weight being moved is never even mentioned.

That well could be. In an article I co-wrote on plyometric bench press

training, I spoke with Schroeder on the phone in regard to his method of doing

this. In our conversation, Schroeder commented on the speed of the bar movement

it terms of milliseconds. I quized him on how he was determining the speed of

the bar in milliseconds. Schroeder replied that he had a machine that did

that. So what said makes sense.
