Guest guest
Hi Jan, , the son whose house burned down, is fighting with the insurance company...probably a law suit to get the replacement cost. They must pull down the little that is left before they can do any building as the structure had so much damage. The insurance company rented them a new house in a nice neighborhood and I went down to stay with the two youngest for a week. It was exhausting as it was not only the kids but stocking food etc. for a family of seven. As tiring as it was it was better than staying home. On my way back with my dog I dozed for a second and flipped the car three times. The car was totalled but I had only a small cut on my hand and the dog was fine except for the glass pieces in his coat. In September my middle son and his wife went to China with me. We had a wonderful time and they were able to help me carry etc. In late October my daughter and I joined and his two girls in Hawaii for ten days. We were the baby sitters while he attended the meetings he had to attend. When we returned my daughter's husband decided that married life may not be for him so is back here moping and moaning. Life is not supposed to go smoothly I guess. Last week Liam's sister died after a battle with throat cancer. We made a quick trip to New york to attend the service. I still keep up with this site but I do not always make comments unless I feel I can help. Hope all goes well and easy for you and Jim. Guest guest
Dear Simmel, Oh my goodness, You have had so many struggles and mishaps. What a blessing that you were not injured too badly in such a car accident, nor your dog. It was nice you could get a trip to China and Hawaii, before you came home to more bad news. I'm sorry to hear of Liam's sister. it must be very hard on you with Liam's anniversary coming up soon too. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving and praying for a better year to come for you....Jan --- Simmel Haim wrote: > Hi Jan, > > , the son whose house burned down, is fighting > with the insurance > company...probably a law suit to get the replacement > cost.
