Awwwwww, . :o( It is tough. There is nothing easy about living

with OCD. I will say that over time you do grow a little bit thicker

skin though, from having dealt with it over and over. I often equate

it to a roller coaster ride for your emotions as the OCD waxes and

wanes.

I cry less about it now than I used to. Not to say it doesn't still

hurt, but after you've been through it so many times . . .the highs,

the lows. . . You get a bit better with coping. And there will always

be thise days where it seems overwhelming. And I have to say, throw

the teenage thing in and it's a whole different ball game. It was

easier to know, specifically what was OCD, when he was younger. But,

he seems more willing to try to do something about it now. So, it's a

trade off, I think.

Hang in there. It's still pretty new to you. But, you'll get through

this. I even self talk occasionally, reminding myself we've been

through it before and it will get better. Use the group to vent, cry,

glean information, etc. That's what we are all here for.

Hugs,

BJ
