Guest guest Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 HI Everyone, Good to read the posts of the last few days & hear that everyone is on the mend. Congrats Nic on the new band....here's hoping he treats you well & that your recovery is quick & painless....same goes to all the other newly bandeds out there. I am starting to come up for air today, following the 3 days of the Bega Show, where I was a Ring Steward for the whole time (horses - just love 'em........kids mothers - can do without them...lol) Reckon I walked about 20klms per day, backwards & forwards in my ring. I met Anne Shearmon & her husband & kids....we had a great old chat for about 10 minutes. Anne I'm sorry I didn't have more time to spend with you. It is lovely to put a face to the name. Stay positive hunny.....you are doing fine!! I have lost 4.5 kgs since my fill 3 weeks ago & am coming to terms with really tight restriction once again. Really funny coz I only have 1.5ml in a 4ml band....pre slip, I had this sort of restriction with 2mls in......interesting!! Relearning how to eat again like a bandster, though I think I am adjusting better this time. Since the slip, I am having a lot of trouble with reflux & have now resorted to lots of pillows of a night time. It seems to help.....I don't wake up choking & coughing (not very pleasant), though I am feeling very tired & getting up later each day as it's harder for me to sleep stacked up. Take care everyone. Love, Robyn in Bega Banded 13/11/03 137/98/70 Yahoo! Messenger NEW - crystal clear PC to PC calling worldwide with voicemail Quote
