Guest guest
, I have had three colonoscopies and endoscopies done since my surgery six and a half years ago, and have had absolutely no problems with them. If your doc suggests another day of fasting, do it. He has his reasons. I know my preparation was three days. It is no big deal now days for the procedures. It is basically painless, as we are asleep. I don't know, other than age, why you are having them, but mine have been basically for ulcers, possible loss of blood, because I was so anemic. No problems found. I am just anemic, always have been, guess I always will be, though I do have a history of ulcers. So, good luck with your tests. Pearl I know that others have mentioned getting colonoscpies post DS. I am about to get my first since my surgery upper GI and my 50th birthday colonoscopy. The digestive Doc mentioned I should fast an extra day to help get nice and clean. Any other advice (or just words of wisdom LOL). Thanks friends.
