Also, today my Uncle Mel was in the emergency room with chest pains. One Uncle in palliative care, his brother in the emergency room. Thankfully Uncle Mel's heart was fine, it seemed the pain was from cracked ribs from his fall a couple of months ago, and from stress. I can only imagine what he must be feeling - the oldest of 4 boys, diagnosed with Parkinson's 17 years ago...and outliving his brothers. Seeing the hurt in his eyes was heart wrenching to say the least.
