Guest guest
Awhile back, when Marta was in Britain, someone asked her what gas cost over there. There is an article in my paper today about comparing gas prices, I thought it might be interesting to some. Far past $4.00 Europeans buy their gasoline by the liter, paid for in local currency such as the euro or the British pound. Here are the equivalent prices in U.S. dollars: Spain- $7.73 gallon Belgium - $8.10 gallon Britain - $9.50 gallon France - $10 gallon Germany - $10.50 gallon Turkey - $11 gallon Can you imagine us paying that much? It may very well happen, but I sure hope not. Pearl **************Vote for your city's best dining and nightlife. City's Best 2008.
