Guest guest Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 thanks very much Ghyll - yes i was rebanded and relieved of a hernia so i think things will start looking up for me from now on. BF Elaine Elaine, Is today the rebanding day? Well Buffalo Woman if it is - please know that I am thinking of you and last night and through the night I burnt a white candle for you - I put the intent in that I wanted this band to be in the right place, that it would be successful and that you would continue your weightloss journey with great ease than what you have had. I shall talk to you soon, Love, Ghyll ~~May all your Weeds be Wildflowers ~~ No virus found in this outgoing message.Checked by AVG Free Edition.Version: 7.1.375 / Virus Database: 267.15.6/257 - Release Date: 2/10/2006 Quote
Guest guest Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 Hi Elaine How are you feeling? So was your band replaced rather than repositioned? Did you have a problem with a slippage, or was it your pouch size? Good luck with the liquid and mush stages. Here's hoping Band 2 is a good one for you. Rest up, Lorraine > > thanks very much Ghyll - yes i was rebanded and relieved of a hernia so i think things will start looking up for me from now on. > BF > Elaine > > > Elaine, > > Is today the rebanding day? Guest guest Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 Hi Elaine So you are re-banded, how are you feeling? So perhaps the hernia was giving the grief part the way along. Did you know you had the hernia or was that discovered in surgery? Well Elaine, all we can hope for now is that the new band is correct and you will be onwards and downwards now! Sip, sip, sip!! Congratulations and wishing you a speedy recovery! Nx Quote

Guest guest Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 Hi Lorraine, No i had to have a new band, there had been a massive slippage and the Dr said that my stomach had not healed around the band properly so it was moving big time. Guest guest Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 You are right Ghyll, I should have had it investigated more thoroughly, though even the endoscopy didn't show the hernia!!!! Elaine Wow Buffalo Woman, What a journey you have been on and I am sure the hernia and slip were the problems of your rocky banded journey. I am sure now that things have been corrected you will be back on track to the glorious you. You are really to be congratulated on having put up with those hassles for so long. I am surprised that it did not cause damage that could not be repaired. You are indeed one lucky sausage!!
