Way to start off the bragging for today! My brag is that I got my butt back into the gym, finally! I am still not where I want to be (as in working out everyday and lifting on a regular basis) but I am getting there! I took my first yoga class on Wednesday. I always thought I was too high strung for yoga, but it was awesome! Once again, I was forced to eat my own words (I have called yoga a sissy workout on a few occasions). Boy, I am feeling that class today! It was awesome! I can't wait to go back!

It won't kill you to miss a day of working out (although I know it will help with your stress levels if you can find a way to get the workout in)! Guest guest
Thanks . That is EXACTLY what I was thinking. If I don't workout, big deal, I have a lot of things going on. But yet, I would really like to so that I may start my day out RIGHT and feel great the rest of the day. If I can't workout, I will accept it, I'm just really hoping I can Darcy who wants to remind you guys that I sure do appreciate each and everyone of ya!! > > Yuck!!! Guest guest
Darcy, Way to go on your early morning workouts. Don't you just love they way you feel after you workout in the morning. I always felt a sense of accomplishment. I can totally relate with the wedding stuff. My brother is getting married this weekend too. I am trying very hard not to stress but I'm not doing too well in that dept. I'm just afraid I'll forget to get something. There is just so much to do and not enough time to get everything done. And to top everything off the wedding is out of state so we have to pack everything up to take with us, plus make sure we don't forget anything. I made a bunch of lists so I don't forget anything, my luck I'll forget my gown. Anyway, on to my brag (2 parts)... First of all, I managed to workout three times this week so far. I've only be averaging 1x per week in the last couple of months, so I'm really happy about getting back into working out on a regular basis. I'm hoping to workout tonight and tomorrow morning as well, but with the wedding this weekend I'm not sure if I'll have time to workout tomorrow or not, since we leave for land at noon, since the wedding is on Sunday. 2nd part of my brag... I just realized that this week was my 1st year anniversary doing Taebo. This is the first workout that I have stuck with for more than a couple of weeks. Plus, I have learned so much about myself during the last year and I know it's because of and this group. I wouldn't have made it this far if I didn't have this group to keep me motivated. Thanks to everyone for all of your support and motivation over the last year. You are all such a blessing to me I can't even tell how much you all mean to me. Looking back, I can't believe how far I have come. When I started last year I was totally out of shape and had about 75-80 lbs to lose. To date I have lost about 25lbs and lots of inches. I still have far to go but I'm happy with my progress and how much stronger I am physically and mentally. I know I will eventually get there even if it takes another 2 years to reach my ideal weight. As long I keep moving forward I'll be happy. I hope everyone has a nice weekend. Take care Bev --- taebo_spirit@... wrote: I am happy to say that I managed to be to work EVERY DAY this week by 6:30 and worked out in the morning beforehand on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. > > OT: I will be so releived when this wedding is > over!! Guest guest
That is for certain Bev. When I first began getting workouts done in the morning I was just on a high ALL DAY LONG. Now, I am much more used to it, but it still feels wonderful. Have a wonderful time at your brother's wedding. It sounds like you have covered all your bases and won't forget anything! I will think of you!! GREAT JOB on the brags too!! Happy Anniversary!! Guest guest
Thanks Darcy, I hope you enjoy your wedding as well. I'll be thinking of you as I run around getting all the last minute things done... At least it looks like we will have great weather here this weekend, since my brother is getting married outdoors. I do at least 40 min. 6 days a week and yesterday, my day off, I couldn't stop myself from doing 15 min. Yoga has become so important for me for relieving stress and pain. Yesterday I did it because my back and hips were sore and I had a terrible sinus and tension headache. The headache was so bad that I couldn't read, use the computer, or watch TV, so I just did yoga. It helped. I checked and the hard tape by Walden is called " Flexibility. " You might be able to do the moves, but I sure couldn't. One thing neat about yoga is that almost everyday you notice improvement in some move or stretch. There is so much room for improvement (at least in my case). I hope you enjoy it!
