Guest guest
Hi Darcy, My mom has made homemade yogurt, but she does it 'low tech' with an oven turned on low. A friend of hers is from India and told her how to do it. I'll have to ask - as it sounds like a good option and probably cheaper than buying yogurt in the store. Take care, Donna Subject: Make your own yogurt??To: "exercisevideos" <exercisevideos >Date: Friday, April 3, 2009, 9:23 PM Has anyone ever tried to make their own yogurt or bought one of these before? It sure gets great reviews! Guest guest
I've made homemade yogurt many times! It's great. Yogurt makers are the easy way to go. You need a good mother culture, and if you can get it, raw milk makes the best yogurt. I milked a friends cow once a week last year and had lots of wonderful fresh milk. My Jersey heifer is due to calf the 19th and yogurt is one of the things I look forward to the most. My kids eat it like it's going out of style.
