Hi Liz,

So we have it narrowed down to the Red Roof and the Double Tree, right? I'm going to vote for the Double Tree only because of the two rooms.....otherwise......I guess I could ask for two rooms at the Red Roof with a connecting door. It would be about the same price. Could you post a telephone number for each as I'd like to ring them up and ask for a brochure or two so I could see where we are in nearness to the Historical area or even how to get there?

I hope a lot of us will be able to attend but I understand how this disease can rear up within a day and throw us in bed. I'm going to try and find Superman although the last I heard from him he was in Yuma, I think. Maybe he reads our posts now and then and will respond.

I will get the phone #'s of these two hotels. They are in Nj about 7 or 8 miles from the historical district. I can try to see what is directly in Philadelphia..or if anyone has any ideas???Love Liz NJ

I didn't realize that Philly is right on the border. We drove from NYC to it but I guess I didn't notice where the state line was. In my mind, I thought Philadelphia was on the other side of the state......Hmmmm.....I can't remember what grade I got in Geography ! )

Nope......don't have any ideas of where to stay. I think you've suggested two, nice hotels and thanks again for your help.
