Guest guest
Hi All, It has been a very long 2 weeks, but I think we are finally starting to get used to our new life. Jack received his fist cast from SLC, we were very pleased with our experience. They took a baseline standing xray that was 47 degrees and then in the cast 16 degrees!! Several Dr.'s addressed this correction as a "home run". Obviously I am thrilled...however I just feel that the cast is soooo tight. I just don't know how we are going to go 3 months. Jack's little belly really sticks out of the very small "key hole" type cut out. He does not sleep through the night. He consistently wakes up at midnight and cries for hours...I think he has gas pains...tonight I gave him some Mylacon. I used to use this when he was an infant, just wondering if anyone else has tried this? So far we are doing well with diapering, no leaks yet, maybe because I constantly change him and he doesn't sleep through the night!!! You can tell I am sleep deprived. We are hanging in and Jack is just such a trooper I am so proud of my little guy. Hope all is well with ALL of your beautiful children. ~Krista
