Cardiomyopathy

Hi all,

Guess I'm writing in part to share good news and because isn't home yet.

My ankles with just one day of the Lasix are now back to normal size, I thank

goodness, and I am so happy for that. I have been sleeping all day.

I will start getting my chest x-ray and other tests done tomorrow and Friday

morning and go from there. The doctor is sending me back to the cardiologist

and I will have the neuclear heart test, halter monitor and all that done again

to see where I'm at now. The diagnoses is Cariomyopathy. I do believe,

although he hasn't told me yet, that I have had it since my teen years as that

is when I started having black out and fainting spells and have had them

sporatically all my life. I've know of mitral and tricuspid prolapsed valves

and murmer for years now but when you tell doctors that they all just pass it

off and say " Oh, many people have that " and no one pays any mind. So, all

these years when I have chest pain, or feel so tired or black out spells and

has to catch me because I can't even find the chair or the counter, I

don't even tell anyone any more. IM SAD, IM HURT, AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DEAL

WITH THIS!@@@ I had to tell my Dad and my daughter today. It was not easy.

doesn't even know the whole of the matter yet, but I know it will be ok.

I mean, it doesn't really change anything except for the better, right? I've

been living with it since an early age and at least NOW I know and can be on

medications and treatment to help!! and know what to look for so at least maybe

it won't get worse without my knowlege.

Anyway, I wrote to and Phil privately. Ellen, dear I told you to behave

and darn it I mean it!!! You rest and do something pampering for yourself, MY

orders, hehee. I really hope you feel better dear. Your ALL my family and I

THANK YOU FROM THE WHOLE HEART OF MINE ALWAYS FOR THIS FAMILY!!!! for holding my

hand, for lifting me up, for sharing our laughter and wiping my tears. Till
