Guest guest
Hi Patra, i'm sorry to hear about your uncle. Cancer is a really scary thing and it's difficult for people to make decisions. The standard treatment offered in the usa (chemo) is very harmful to healthy as well as cancer cells, particularly the immune system. It may not be very good for the patient, but it is extremely profitable for a few. Kombucha tea may or may not help some of your uncle's challenges. But stage 4 cancer is serious and you shouldn't consider KT any type of cure. One thing you should keep in mind, you should brew the KT well on the tart side. You want to minimize the amount of sugar. I haven't had cancer but i have done some research and sugar feeds cancer. A fantastic website for " alternative " cancer information is http://cancertutor.com/. They have a ton of info for cures, nutrition, and causes of cancer. There are many cures, your doctor may be afraid to mention them to you (if he even knows about them) but if you search they aren't that difficult to find. It makes a lot more sense to me to understand and address the root causes of cancer than the old crude shotgun approach. Do check out the info for yourself, make your own informed decision, don't be lured into a false trust of your doctor. They probably mean well but if you get herded into chemo treatment it's likely to be a disaster for you. The pharma companies will love it though. - Woody Subject: Articles? To: original_kombucha Date: Thursday, March 29, 2012, 10:11 AM My uncles has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma. I won't go into all the details, but his treatment SEEMED to be working and then he took a really bad turn for the worse. He now not only has Stage 4 Lymphoma but also Leukemia. I've heard that the treatment for Lymphoma (chemo and other stuff) are actually posioning your body and can actually cause other cancers. My question is: Are there any articles out there showing the benefit of drinking Kombucha for cancer patients? I am very new in my Kombucha brewing and I need something for my cousins to read - since I'm not versed enough to explain. I understand from my google searches that " There is no scientific evidence to support any of the claims made for Kombucha tea " but I think you all may have other sources. Thanks!
