Guest guest
RE: Update That amount of sedation worked last time. This time the stupid nurse put the i v in a vein I told her wasn't reliable & I think that when the doctor injected the versed he did it too fast & collapsed the vein so the rest went into the muscle where it did no good at all. I got a bit of a buzz from the versed - not much but a bit. Medical professionals my butt!!! Next time they'll listen to me or I walk! My throat still hurts. every thing's normal there at least. I couldn't take much more bad news. SuZie Bill wrote I too have tough veins .I was at the Doc's and he had some bitty that thought I was an old man and she could do what she wanted which meant sticking me 25 times looking for a vein. They had a problem after that because they had to go revive her see I knocked her out.! Now that office knows I dont take shit from any one. It's like the "Arguello" that is the word the spanish use when they give no quarter. Guest guest
Hi Janie ~~ Prayers for tomorrow. When do you get your psych appointment? Do you have an idea when you will start tx? I'm starting in January -- so maybe we can do this deal together! Best wishes, janie barnhart wrote: well gang i'm goin tomorrow for the thing down my throat so that way i can eat better maybe without food getting stuck.! and then all i'm waiting for is to see a pych then after that treatment about time i think well hope to get to chat on thur lol not like last week i was a day or two late lol yeah i know whack in the head lol JR [HepatitisCSupportG roupForDummies] Update Hi Guys, I just got back from the hospital - the endoscopy. Guest guest
Suzie ~~ Glad you made it through the procedure and had good results...you deserve some good news somewhere. How much longer do you have to wait for your oncologist appointment? Do you have a GI appointment again soon too? So much going on for you! Please give SpYke a hello from my four furry friends...Cherokee, Patches, Tigger and Boots. They allow my husband and I to live in their home with them! I've let them know that they are key players on my tx team! Best wishes, suzie wrote: Hi Guys, I just got back from the hospital - the endoscopy. What a mess!!! Guest guest
Hi , I see the oncologist next Monday & the specialist on the 29th, as far as the G I - if he wants to see me his office will set something up. He's working with my specialist on this & I see the infectious diseases guy - I used to call him Dr Idiot but he's gotten smarter, now he listens to what I tell him. All of my doctors seem to be surprised that I'm doing as well as I am after all these years. Here's hoping I keep right on surprising them! Guest guest
Suzie ~~ Well it looks like it's in the works...now come the patience part! I'm glad that you are able to defy medical odds -- you go girl! It just reminds me that will all doctor's wisdom (and they have alot) and their education (and this is good too) that God is really in charge of everything and how everybody does....often medicine is surprised. I'm sure that your great attitude helps a lot too. I never really understood that it affected things so much until it was my turn to be the one with the health problem...now it makes perfect sense. I'll keep my eyes open for your posts and in the mean time, take the best care of you that you can...do something everyday just for you.
