Guest guest
Hello. I just wanted to send a quick intro. I’m and am a homeschooling mom to 6 children. We have Nubian dairy goats and have enjoyed their milk for several months. We will likely just be milking two or three this year. Last year we were milking a Nubian and an Alpine and didn’t care for the taste of the Alpine milk so I froze it and began using it in my soaps. We will be breeding the girls in the next couple of weeks and I am so sad to have to go to the store and buy milk these days but we can’t find any available raw milk around us. My children have been asking if we can buy another goat that has milk because they can taste a huge difference in their raw goat milk and the store stuff. (They won’t even call it milk.) Hopefully we can get a Jersey in a couple years when the children aren’t so young. I look forward to learning and sharing with others. I will likely be doing more learning than sharing for awhile as we’ve only been milking for less than a year. J Thanks so much! ..
