I just read posted comments on this story on the GMA website.  How sad and

pathetic to see people attack others who are different from themselves.  People

actually made comments joking about harming this child.  They're sick - the kind

of people who would have been Nazis at a different time and place (may be now

for all we know).

Two years ago, I had a bad experience with American as well with my wife and son

before I knew he was autistic.  They are horrible - I just didn't have the

energy to fight back and complain after the flight ended.  Not now!  No one has

the right to treat our children this way - individuals or companies.

Isn't this the time when Autism Speaks, the Autism Society of America , all

the other Autism and disability groups be on all the news shows " raising

%^^** & " for this display of public ignorance and humiliating treatment of

children with Autism and their parents.

Maybe it is about time the all airlines train their crew on how to handle

and accommodate people with Autism.

As for the public, reading some of these comments is an " embarrassment " to

me as an American.
