NJ feeling pressure

I just received

this from a customer of mine, (and chapter leader), and I took out the names and

replaced with words in red, for privacy reasons, but I thought this was

interesting, and for those of you involved in the same or similar situations,

these people have even been known to lie, trick, and deceive to gather

information. But it goes to show you that as wonderful as these websites are

for information, word of mouth may be a better solution. I am still waiting for

Florida to be

the next PA, as big as the movement is here. Its funny to me to hear people say

that it feels impossible to them to find a supplier, when to me it feels like

raw milk is everywhere.

I coordinate the milk deliveries in NJ and was listed on

RealMilk.com, and I also had a delivery to my house. In June, 2007, the local

health department came to my door and said they had reports that I had

deliveries of raw milk coming here. I stupidly said yes, partially because we

had a death in the family that morning and I was slightly in shock. They asked

me if I had any milk in my house now, and I said no. They actually asked if they

could come in and check my refrigerator! Of course I refused that, and told

them due to what had happened in our family that day, that I could not speak to

them anymore. They asked for my phone number and asked if they could speak to

me again about milk. I said yes, in another week, and then immediately

contacted a couple of people. We took down our ordering website, but I couldn't

do much else then due to family stuff. I did contact the other Chapter Leaders,

who contacted Sally. She was in Australia

at the time.

“An FCLD lawyer” contacted

me about 5 days later. He got on the case and found out the NJ State Dept.

of Health regularly looks at

RealMilk.com and that's how they got my name. They sent the local Health Dept. to check me out.

After about

2 weeks of phone calls from “the

FCLD lawyer” , the State and Local HD

dropped the case, as I was no longer getting deliveries here.

“He” said I

was the first consumer to be targeted by a Health

Department.
