KidSpeak, LLC registration deadline for July Summer Sessions is approaching

(June 17)! 

 

All of our groups integrate intensive language and social skills within a fun

environment.  Kidspeak, LLC offers a low student/teacher ratio so that each

child receives personal attention. 

 

This Summer we will be offering a variety of groups for ages 2 ½ to 10 years

old diagnosed with language, learning, social and communication issues to be

part of these wonderful programs! 

 

Each week your child will be exposed to and participate in a number of arts and

crafts activities, music, gym, snack/lunch behaviors and conversations,

independent and group learning and much more.

 

The KidSpeak, LLC June Session will meet: July 7, 2008 – August 1, 2008 and

the deadline to register is June 17,  2008.  Below is a list of the groups

with a little more detail.    

 

Toddler Group (ages 2 ½ - 4)                  

Tuesday/Thursday 9:30 – 11:30           

This group is designed for children who are beginning to learn the classroom as

well as social rules of a preschool.  The Toddler Group day is scheduled like a

typical preschool focusing on each child’s individual language and social

needs. 

 

Preschool Group (ages 3 – 5)     Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:30 – 11:30

This group is designed for children who are already familiar with the classroom

and social rules of preschool.  These children use and understanding a higher

level of language than the Toddler Group.  This group is focused on increasing

language (use and understanding) as well as increasing socialization skills. 

This Group is Full. 

 

PreK/K Group (ages 4 - 6)            Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00 –

12:00

This group is designed for children who attend or will be attending

Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten classes.  The focus in this group is to

increase socialization and language skills while working on academic skills. 

Even though there is a focus on academic skills (such as pre-literacy, early

math skills, etc) the main focus of this group is socialization with peers. 

 

Lunch Bunch (ages 2 ½ - 10)                  Monday 11:30 –

12:15

                    Wednesday 11:30 – 12:15

During Lunch Bunch, children will work on appropriate lunch time behavior as

well as responding and initiating to comments by their peers, the ability to

discuss past and future events, discuss what they like/don’t like, etc. 

 The ages for the two groups of Lunch Bunch will be based on the demand. 

 

Play/Social Groups (ages 3 – 10)           Monday/Wednesday 1:30

-3:00

                                Tuesday/Thursday

12:30 -2:00

                                        \

                                Tuesday/Thursday

2:30 -4:00

These groups will be designed to fit their appropriate age groups.  The ages

for the three groups will be based on demand.  The main focus of this group

will be increasing socialization skills (such as: showing friends art work,

taking turns, playing board/social games, working on conversational skills,

etc).

All groups focus on the individualized social communication as well as

socialization needs of each child.  There is a $20 registration fee for each

July group (plus the tuition payment).  In order to place your child in the

most appropriate group, your child must participate within a Speech and Language

Evaluation or an Intake Interview (only if your child is no currently receiving
