Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, It has been a long time since I did either one - 1000 does have cardio intervals, but I can't remember the weight training. RTTC has compound exercises - which you may not like (based on your previous posts about how you don't like them!) I can't remember if 1000 has compound exercises for the weight training portions or not. Maybe you would like Slim and Lean or Ripped and Chisled better since those do not have compound exercises. Hey - did you ever get your Chalene Xtreme? If you find you don't like it, I may be able to take it off your hands for you for a fair price! (I really want to get it eventually, although it may be awhile before I can do it - I think my progression back to weight training should be isolated exercises first THEN compound exercises). Thanks, Donna Subject: Ripped 1000 vs Ripped to the CoreTo: exercisevideos Date: Friday, January 23, 2009, 8:58 AM Are these almost the same, except 1000 has cardio intervals? I'm leaning towards RTTC...
Guest guest
thanks for the info! I had tried 1000 a long time ago and didn't care much for it, I remember thinking I felt like I didn't get a good weight workout and didn't care much for cardio intervals > > Are these almost the same, except 1000 has cardio intervals? Guest guest
I did get Chalean, just started previewing, haven't looked at any of the weight workouts yet. I do think the deluxe kit is not worth the money and will most likely send that back unless my dh wants to keep it. I've got a couple dvd's in my amazon shopping cart but need to spend a few more $'s to get free shipping and I was considering getting another Jari workout, I've got ripped, S & L, and chiseled. I had tried ripped 1000 and didn't care much for cardio intervals and had a hard time doing weights...had to drop in weight in order to do compound movements because I was concentrating so hard on balance...main reason why I didn't like compound moves...hopefully with chalean the moves are done at a much slower pace so balance isn't as much an issue, and I don't think they require a step, which I think those were my problem moves, if that makes any sense. As a side note, I had my eyes checked yesterday (1st time in about 8 years). Used to wear glasses for computer work, maybe closeup work, been so long I don't remember. Anyway, my eyes are still good, 20/20 distance, no glasses needed. But my left eye has been bothering me, kind of achy/tired feeling, headache behind the eye...he thinks it is due to a pinched nerve in my neck! I'm still having neck issues and range of motion problems, but it isn't as restricted as it was last week. So whatever has been affecting my neck/shoulder/upper back, is also causing headaches and eye aches. And I think it is also triggering various random muscle twitching in my back...feels like someone is tapping me on back in random places. I go next Tuesday to an orthopedic dr and hopefully he can fix whatever is wrong. > > > Subject: Ripped 1000 vs Ripped to the Core > To: exercisevideos > Date: Friday, January 23, 2009, 8:58 AM > > > > > > > Are these almost the same, except 1000 has cardio intervals? Guest guest
I had the same impression, Cheryl. I need to do it at least one more time before I get rid of it. I have RTTC too and did it maybe once last year some time but don't remember it at all. I want to do a Jari rotation soon and try this out. My 7 AM Friday WW At Work meeting ends in 2 weeks and they do not want to sign up for another 12 week session (they've had a lot of trouble with attendance and most of those that do attend aren't hardly trying and admit they're not). That means I'll have my Friday mornings (until my 2nd At Work class that day at 11:30) free again, making it much easier for me to do rotations with weights since I'll have days in between workouts again so I'm thinking I might do this in February some time. I told the At Work coordinator NOT to find me any more 7 AM meetings for a while. This was especially hard because I work Thursday nights too! Anyway, I'm glad you asked about this video (and not my life though I turned it that way didn't I?) I was wondering this too! Re: Ripped 1000 vs Ripped to the Core thanks for the info!
