My wonderfully, open-minded doctor (he is even more open-minded than me, imagine that :-)) is organizing an information weekend on natural medicine for the public at a local college in one of German " s major cities. The event is sanctioned by the city or at least it was until someone realized that a particpating doctor was organizing a seminar on the association of neurodermatitis and vaccines ( the doctor had in mind only to use studies appearing in peer-reviewed journals). All hell has broken loose and the mayor has now withdrawn support. It seems the local health department has put pressure on the mayor to disassociate himsef from any negative publicity on vaccines. ... My doctor is incensed. Being German he is horrified at the attempts of local government to censor this event ( shades of the brown shirt period) . Going over emails from the days while I was away, I see that Gerbarding, during a Larry King interview, conceded that vaccines may in part may cause autism. I have been deleting so much and I cannot find the original emails with the Larry King/ links......I haven " t got time to go back and ferret through stuff as I have a few academic deadlines to attend to......Can anyone direct me quickly to this interview? I need to fire off an email to my doctor showing him recent developments in the States. I know he " ll be delighted with any mainstream change of opinions he can use to change the mayor " s mind.
