Guest guest Posted May 4, 2011 Report Share Posted May 4, 2011 Hi all, I've recently created a very delicate and beautiful perfume centered around Boronia absolute and the scent itself is really gorgeous and I don't want to alter it as such in anyway. My problem is that it doesn't project very well, it's very close wearing to the skin and I believe must be sniffed directly in order to smell it. I wonder if there is any way I can make it project further without actually changing the formulation as I think if I start tinkering around with the base it may dampen the brightness of the composition. It's a complete jag that I've achieved something I'm so happy with and unfortunately I've used quite a few of my most expensive essences in it so it's unlikely I could think about selling this one any time soon (unless I win the lotto). I am planning on isolating the base, middle and top and analyzing them individually to see if there are some modifications that could improve it. I've only recently started studying with Anya offline so I'm totally aware that I lack technical knowledge required to refine this blend at this stage but a few pointers would be much appreciated.
