Oh well, SOME day I will get it. well, you know that you want to ease up on those thoughts a bit, and that is half of the battle. maybe you could entertain the kids with a 'dance party' and get a bit of cardio in that way... or do some strength training exercises using the kids for weights. maybe even just 15 mins will make you stop thinking that you completely missed your workout. i know how you feel though... it is hard to not have the 'all or nothing' thoughts. :*carolyn. Guest guest
Yes, you are so right on all Carolyn!!! You would think after several years a person would just " get it " ..LOL.. and I do for the most part, but I also struggle at times too..ugh....I now have fried my husband's laptop! I can't win! My son splashed water on it (by bumping into the desk). Of course that one has zero insurance so we are just out the money. ..ugh.. For this weekend, I have my brother's computer. On Monday I will be without a computer and will miss you guys like crazy. I'm guessing I could borrow his again come next weekend. I so hope.... THIS BITES!! I hope you are right that it will take less time. They said it has to be sent out which takes awhile...(whatever).. Anyway, I have had 3 good workout days now and hubby is home so there won't be any excuse to get some good workouts in over the weekend now too Yesterday, I did Cathe's Muscle Max, upper body portion, and then 10 minute kickbox with Keli . I did 3 sections and modified to make them more cardio which is what I was looking for. Yesterday I did Rob Glick's bosu one.. can't think of the name.. and then Power Half Hour Ab Ripper.. Anyway, I'm rambling..DarcyOn Wed, Mar 12, 2008 at 11:36 PM, Festival City Concrete/ & Carolyn Visser wrote: Darcy Ledman wrote: > But, I am here! hey, i was just thinking of you this morning and wondered if i had missed some of your posts, or what! i hope that it doesnt really take that long to get your laptop back. most places say that it will take forever so that they look good when it ends up taking only half the time. i hope that it only takes a week or so. >That is my ONLY complaint about working > out. Guest guest
Those are great ideas Carolyn! I love the idea of a dance party with the kids. I've done that a couple of times (purposely, when I haven't had a chance to work out). We just get super silly dancing, jumping, falling on the floor and rolling around. We all get a little bit of exercise and we're having fun together. Darcy, you've got at least one that is small enough to do weight lifting with too so that's a fun idea too. My kids loved it when I lifted them and swung them around all that when they were little. Re: Sorry.. I haven't posted much..
