Guest guest
Great job Kassia! I don't know if I could do a workout without a video though I've seen some really great workouts in magazines I wouldn't mind trying. Maybe someday... good for you though!!! circuit workout-without a video ACK morning all, last night did firebird series of namaste yoga.made my back feel much better, but this morning had the pain in the front, cramps! ugh at least its now then during the campout(yucky).anyway while i was down and out with my back i went through and organized my workouts clipped from magazines. i did pretty good dividing them by circuit, straight weights, short total body, upper/lower,abs only, etc etc. even a separate section for muscle and fitness hers workouts. so i went with a M & Fhers circuit workout. i warmed up with quick fix kick focus on abs with janis. then 2x(reps below)through each circuit using 8lb db. pylo squats for 10 repstriple threat push ups(decline,regular,incline)10 reps each set upplie hold with hammer curl-15scissor crunch 25split jump squat-10lateral raise into overhead press-10french press with a balance hold-15crossover crunches-16lateral jumps-20bent over rows balancing one leg-15one leg tricep dips-20bicycle crunches 30quick to do focuses on a little of everything and as tough as i could make it without having to worry about keeping up with the instructor. trying to make this a habit since i have so many weight workouts from magazines and i know the results it could bring. just have to focus and get there.have a great onekassia ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don¢t want to impress people they don¢t like. -Will
Guest guest
nancy its part of helping me to NOT buy more videos. it worked out well this morning, i love reading magazines and i love the workouts. i used to do some weight workouts on my own and really got some results so i know i can do it. just lack of self motivation and confidence to do it on my own. there is NO choice now i just simply CANNOT spend more money. if i can go a few more rounds i might get back into it. just click on a music channel and let it roll. kassia ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don¢t want to impress people they don¢t like.-Will Subject: Re: circuit workout-without a video ACKTo: exercisevideos Date: Wednesday, October 15, 2008, 3:19 PM Great job Kassia! Guest guest
Love your description of the compound moves in this one! Great review, Kassia! So do you ever actually do the magazine workouts? I organized them too for a time and boy the books were pretty, but I never acutally did them :)Kassia wrote: morning all, last night did firebird series of namaste yoga.made my back feel much better, but this morning had the pain in the front, cramps! ugh at least its now then during the campout(yucky).anyway while i was down and out with my back i went through and organized my workouts clipped from magazines. i did pretty good dividing them by circuit, straight weights, short total body, upper/lower,abs only, etc etc. even a separate section for muscle and fitness hers workouts. so i went with a M & Fhers circuit workout. i warmed up with quick fix kick focus on abs with janis. then 2x(reps below)through each circuit using 8lb db. pylo squats for 10 repstriple threat push ups(decline,regular,incline)10 reps each set upplie hold with hammer curl-15scissor crunch 25split jump squat-10lateral raise into overhead press-10french press with a balance hold-15crossover crunches-16lateral jumps-20bent over rows balancing one leg-15one leg tricep dips-20bicycle crunches 30quick to do focuses on a little of everything and as tough as i could make it without having to worry about keeping up with the instructor. trying to make this a habit since i have so many weight workouts from magazines and i know the results it could bring. just have to focus and get there.have a great onekassia ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don¢t want to impress people they don¢t like.-Will
Guest guest
i might do one or two of the short ones(mostly the rip out cards from self mag) but never actually any of the oxygen or M & Fhers full programs.more or less do them when i am bored but never for actual workouts. its time to start in these tight money times though to keep things refreshing. been at it so long i am sure my form is good and i can keep the counts pretty good. just getting up and doing it and having the confidence to talk myself through instead of an instructor. i am going to make more of an effort though, still using some of my videos for warm ups, stretches, and cardio of course. i have a binder just for travel/bodyweight/resistance band workouts, so if i make an effort to do the other workouts i will def. make more time when i am away from home to do these workouts too(don't always have access to free space and tv when i visit family) so i will never have an excuse again not to do something. i have 3 huge binders of just workouts, one for rotations, and one for articles fitness related. and i have a small one that is collages i made to keep me motivated. they have sayings and pictures of ppl working out. kassia ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don¢t want to impress people they don¢t like.-Will Subject: Re: circuit workout-without a video ACKTo: exercisevideos Date: Wednesday, October 15, 2008, 7:35 PM Love your description of the compound moves in this one!
