Guest guest
Hi , I believe AFLAC is gap insurance for short term disability. If someone with AFLAC gets injured then those costs can get reimbursed. The patient would pay out of pocket (to answer what others thought your question was). I do not know how cost effective it is for you as an employer. I have not done this and have never had a patient ask me to do so.I was asking if anyone had experience in being a customer of AFLAC and offering their supplemental insurance plans as a benefit to employees working for you, and/or being covered by one of their plans yourself. Thanks for your input thus far.Sincerely, L Herrst DCCity Fit Chiropractic
Guest guest
Hi My personal opinion is that Aflac doesnt pay very much and is designed to only be supplemental insurance. Kind of like to cover co-pays. I have had a couple of patients use it and it never paid much so I think that your employees will only get a very limited benefit from it so if you feel that they will appreciate it then it is up to you.
