Guest guest
is not a "straight" institution, when there, I learned, Diversified, Gonstead, , Activator, S.O.T., flexion-distraction, Leander, Toggle and Logan Basic. I also was well trained in P.T., rehab, exercise activities and nutrition. In the curriculum was a total of 6 credit hours of Chiropractic Philosophy that covered from B.J. To himself. They prided them self on giving the students the information and let them decide what they want to be. Dr. Mancini was the Director of foreign student when I was admitted at and he was a brilliant individual with a caring and charismatic personality. I am sure that his book will be good for the profession directly or indirectly. As a side note, with only the pre-release orders, the book was on the Amazon top 30. What I took away from it is nothing about chiropractic...although if someone was alreading pondering the use of chiropractic services, then maybe by having Dr. Phil say he sees his chiro regularlyhelped the person. In regards to Dr. Mancini, I remember him talking about forgiveness. So if I were a lay person, I would think something along the lines of " forgive ___ and I will heal " . Dr. Mancini was on Dr. Phil to promote his book, not chiropractic...andhe did just that.BTW, I have seen a video of the services offers (or maybe it was Palmer...?) and they were advertising PT therapies more than adjustments. They are certainly not the straightest of the straight colleges. Guest guest
Hello Dr. Mancini is a great guy and I have talked with him many times at seminars. I truly believe that his heart is in helping the professional and college. I am sure he is happy to sell his book as well. is not a straight school by any means although does have more philosophical base than WSCC (or UWS where many of us went) and it is not Life West or Life or Sherman either. I thought it was great that Dr. Phil mentioned that Fab introduced him to Chiropractic and that he has a Chiropractor who was in the audience and that he sees him 2x / week. Great to have a national star saying they receive care 2x / week. Even better than if he had said I go in whenever I hurt (although that wouldnt be bad either). I wish that the Chiropractic segment and interview with Dr Fab ended at that point and then it would have been a great spot.I agree that the show was totally confusing and off our main base when they brought in the man who was severly injured in the MVA. Nothing wrong with adding forgiveness to the healing regimen, it just then became the overwhelming theme and diverted the prior message. I see nothing wrong with a Chiropractor offering counselling and strategies to bring harmony into our lives, I just wish it was portrayed as an adjunct and did not become the main theme of the show.Keep up the healingElliott Mantell DC To: "oregondcs " <oregondcs > Sent: Monday, March 26, 2012 5:53 PM Subject: Re: Dr. Mancini on Dr. Phil Show When I watched the segment I tried watching as a lay person.
