Guest guest
I am considering buying Super Nu-thera for my son, though it does seem rather expensive. What are people's experiences? Did their children do well on it? I have heard that some children react - is this very common or only with a few children. >>>We tried it on Sam way back when - it was disgusting taste wise, hard to get in and sent him bonkers - hyper and spinning. Some kids do very well on it but in my reading experience over the years it seems more do badly than do well on it. I think I recall Luke is swallowing caps now so you wouldn't have the taste issues, maybe the newer flavours are better than the olden days (1999-2000 I am talking about) Why are you thinking of using it and what are you using now? Thanks Nicola Trotman Mum of Luke aged 6 - about to start mainstream school for one hour a week with a shadow!!
Guest guest
Thanks so much for all your comments. Dr Heard suggested it was the next supplement we try as Luke is already on P5P and B12 and said that sometimes supplementing with some B vitamins can throw off the balance of other B vitamins. >>Yes, you need the full range of B's or they all end up getting upset - so he doesn't have a multi right now at all? Brainchild is great stuff but liquid he might not want to take now he is pill swallowing but lots of kids do, Metabolics do a childrens multi with no nasties, no citric or soy and has folinic not folic acid. I like the Yasko multi but tabs are very smelly and taste if they stick to your tongue. I Fyou want to try the Yasko ones I always have a pot opne so could send you a few and see what you think Mandi x

Not really keen to start something that would make him hyper as it is hopefully starting school soon. Also still got ammonia and yeast problems still trying to sort out with CP1, sacc bol, candex, zinc, GSE, yucca, oxypowder, AKA etc. Luke is also on magnesium, omega fish oils, selenium, DMG, folinic acid, all houston enzymes. Thanks Nicola Re: Re: Super Nu-thera In a message dated 10/09/2007 20:52:28 GMT Standard Time, n.trotmanntlworld writes: I am considering buying Super Nu-thera for my son, though it does seem rather expensive. Guest guest
I can't remember which Brainchild we bought but it didn't taste great. (like so many other kids) has quite sensitive smell and it does have a strong smell. I think we tried the Multivit, ultrasensitive formula. He couldn't tolerate it, even at miniscule doses! Guest guest
No he doesn't have a multi-vit right now. What does the Brainchild liquid taste like? Luke does take liquid DMG and omega oil okay - though he's not keen on the taste. Thanks Mandi x Re: Re: Super Nu-thera In a message dated 10/09/2007 23:24:26 GMT Standard Time, n.trotmanntlworld writes: Thanks so much for all your comments. Guest guest
Awww. Good luck at school, Luke! Which school is he going to Nicola? When is he starting exactly? doesn’t like super nu-thera but I’ve forgotten why. We use metabolics children’s formula. If I was starting again, I’d probably try the Brainchild first.
