great job lisa, that is my complaint a bit about cathe's pyramid workouts. although i only have the fittv version its still the same with the supersetting. you have to stop and grab something more challenging. its weird that its the same muscle group but you have to grab different weights. i notice this alot for back/shoulders/ and even sometimes triceps. doing kickbacks i need something lighter but i do skullcrushers or lying cross body extensions i can up the weight a few more pounds. i have both ab diet workouts on my netflix. no real motivation to bump them up. i am just going to let them come in when they come in.kassia

Pyramid and Abs diet

Yesterday I was just full of energy, which was SO nice. I did the down onlypremix of Cathe's Pyramid upper body. Nice workout, but I hate stopping andstarting the dvd between chest presses and chest flies. Cathe uses the sameweight for both; I cannot. :-) I'm feeling it just a bit today, mostly inmy shoulders. Also got in 2 tmill walks for a total of 30 mins, and thendecided to walk to the library to pick up some items that were in for me, sothat was another 22 mins (and I got a much higher calorie burn than thetmill - I think I walk faster, and of course the uneven terrain helps). Ihave not exercised for 94 minutes in one day forever! Felt good.Today I've walked for 15 mins on the tmill, and then for a change I put in avirgin -Abs Diet workout vol 2. I did the cardio intervals, and modifiedall of it to low impact. Good little workout, if you ignore the stretchingof cold muscles in the warm-up(!). Oh, the guy leading the workout laughs atad crazily, but he's okay. It was all intervals of up to 1 minute - 1 ofeasy jogging, then 30s of jumping jacks, back to jogging, then jumping ropefor 45s, and so on. Simple to follow (although he could demonstrated thenext move before he starts it), and not a space hog at all. I think itwould be a huge calorie burner if done as all high impact, as shown.Reminded me a bit of Jillian s stuff, without the weights (andeasier, too). Unfortunately, there's only a quick calf stretch at the end,so planning to add more of your own might be a good idea.Carolyn, and others, this struck me as a good one to do on the rebounder.Going to get in one more short walk today - probably on the tmill. No virus found in this outgoing message.Checked by AVG.Version: 7.5.524 / Virus Database: 270.4.10/1551 - Release Date: 7/14/20086:49 AM
