morning all, just got done with laundry everybody is gone the house is peaceful for now LOL. this morning i did tae-bo strength this is the third workout in the "capture the power" series with those little 1/2 pound balls. they were meant for you to squeeze as you punch etc. i used 2lb hand weights today but i remembered i have those grip handles for strengthening the hands so i might try those that next time. in the meantime i used the weights for resistance and the only squeeze i did is when we flexed into a position for a nice isometric hold after slow and fast paced punching and kicking. i do like this one but there are moments where he just talks to much about those dumb balls. but i just filled in his blah blah with jogs in place. while the title is strength its more of an aerobic weight deal. sure you will get some resistance for

good muscle tone and control but nothing to really build up your muscles. its alot of cardio paced movements just done with a little resistance. in billy's case squeezing a little 1/2 pound ball while me it was making sure my form was good b/c i was holding just a tad more weight and injury is possible. so its really a workout for body control conditioning. a little more intense then some of his workouts but doesn't hold a candle to his boot camps.when i was previewing this workout i also took a gander at power. the final workout on the 2 dvd 4 workout set. its pretty much like strength except a lot faster movements. strength was 48 min and power was 46 min so really no reason these can be the best on short days to get a little of everything before you head out the door. i feel a little soreness coming on in the shoulders and abs. so i did something right this morning with this workout. tomorrow i am going to try to get one of the hi-lo

workouts on christi's humble beginnings dvd. so far i don't have the second disc but i don't like how they set this up. its hi-lo on one disc(which is what i have) and all step on the other. i wish they kept the workouts as is(half hi-lo half step) that way i could experience them better instead of waiting but i will make do. the workouts are her CIA workouts from very early on. the clothes and music are a little dated but i think might enjoy this one. one of them even has the same background has cathe's MIC and MIS workouts!! here are the breakdowns from christi's siteCIA5004 combines beginner to intermediate level Step and High/Low aerobic combinations that will get your heart pumping and your feet dancing.

CIA7002 combines intermediate to advanced level Step and High/Low aerobic combinations that will burn BIG-TIME fat while making you feel like a professional dancer.

CIA9801 is an advanced workout, to say the least. Its complex choreography and high intensity Step and High/Low movement will keep you so intrigued, you won¢t have time to count the minutes.

All three of these outstanding workouts also include warm-ups, cool-downs, floor exercises and stretches.off to make some lunch i am starved!have a great onekassia ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't
