Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I worked for a wonderful animal hospital in Vinton, Virginia. I have to say that it was easily the best, most fulfilling job that I had. I worked for them until my eighth month of pregnancy with my first child. I really miss it. One of the docs there read up on CMT and he was so helpful. He gave me advice about how to talk to my dr., and how to be more aggressive about my treatment. That is something that a lot of people are taught.........be polite..............dont ruffle any feathers. I can't speak for the men, but ladies, was this your experience growing up? Now,I go in there with a list of the questions that I have. I tend to get nervous and forget them if I don't. I also try to do my research and print stuff off and take it with me. I have to say that I have a wonderful dr. She doesn't get offended. She says she wishes more people would do that. I know there are docs that would be offended by it. If that is the case, then I would keep looking for one that didnt. We are smart, intelligent people. We have every right to get the absolute best medical care out there. I also want that for my daughter. The point of my story is that I was taught how to handle my medical issues better by the sweet, caring animal doc. People who care for animals just get it in my book! Take Care Everyone,
