Guest guest
Hi Kay, Oh boy, do I hear you loud and clear! Yes, the power of the mind, and the power of positive thought is so important to me in living with CMT. Matter of fact now I rarely think about CMT, unless I am at work for . The focus on what's " positive " is the premise on which I founded . While, no, we cannot simply " think our way out of CMT " or " think our way to arrestment " , I feel that positive thoughts of daily acceptance and gratitude go along way towards peace and happiness in my life. As you know I include this in meditation. Even when at the gym, I can focus on the good that will come out of my aquatics work (good in many ways - strengthening muscles, strengthening my mind, getting those 'feel good' endorphins kicking in. Thanks for a great post, ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
Hello Kay, That is really true! Thanks for your GREAT email. We always need to be reminded about the way we see, perceive life and things around us and always be thankful no matter what. This things coming for our spiritual growth after all! We are not alone here and when we look around...there are so much to be grateful always! We are learning at all times and this is mind over matter things is real! The mind, the power we have to change the things we can, can make a great difference indeed. Serenity to accept the things we can not change and the courage to change the things we can. The positive attitude regarding your daily difficulties counts a lot! Life is a already a great gift!!! There is no such thing as being disabled really. We may be unable to perform certain task but who can perfoming ALL? We can always do something to one another...there is always a room for improvements. Physically we can may have some limitations but in your mind nothing is impossible when ther is a strong will to conquer. Well Done Kay! Thanks again. Guest guest
I highly recommend Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain, along with her excellent workbook. You'll likely find copies of her books in any decent public library, and/or buy them 'used' on Amazon.com for better prices. Bill
Guest guest
Wow Kay what a wonderful message. I also believe in the power of the mind, and that you will only do what you believe you can do. Thanks for this reminder.
