Gretchen, I tracked down my confusion on your posting Desiderata back in Dec. You HAD posted the entire poem with you beautiful Holiday message on 12/19. Someone commented on it on 12/20 and that only contained the beginning when they refered to your message. I saved all those posts so I went back and looked. Interestingly enough, it made me,at the time, research it to get the whole text, and I found out about the " confused History " , that it actually was written in the 1920s, and not found in an old church from the 1600s! I was still operating under the latter misconception. I should have known that you, Gretchen, would have had it correct! you are like Poppins, " practically perfect in every way " . It was neat to re-read messages from Christmas, everyone is so inspired! Joana referred to this as a Holy place, I never thought of it like that, but holy is one of my favouite four letter words!
