Guest guest Posted January 1, 2008 Report Share Posted January 1, 2008 Hi there, Sounds like you could sell those to Al-Queda. Anyway, something in your recipe has water that is reacting to the soda. Try putting a bit of baking soda into your oils ( a small teaspoon maybe), a check for reaction. Your oils could be low grade with high water content. Commercial stuff is mainly baking soda & flour so its very dry. Not much chance of reaction. Even oil has water content. I made some for sale before and had to cut down to water content but drying everything before packing. Otherwise it's mix & use right away. Do email me if you want some bombs made for you.
