Hello Kay,

I've been taking Zocor for some time now and can't really tell you if

there have been no effects. At least I can say that there have been no

gross effects so far. It is taken at bed time to avoid any dizzy side

effects. My HDL has never been over 22 and my total cholesterol is fine.

However, my triglycerides are high and very difficult to lower even

though I follow a very good diet. I was taking Vasotec for several years based

on the Finnish study, but they started to get antsy about other problems from

long term use. Currently, they are talking about another item as dual medication

approach.
