This statement was on the lady speak stick sight: Is there any truth to the rumor that using antiperspirants can cause breast cancer? There is no truth to this rumor. According to the American Cancer Society, " There is absolutely no scientific evidence that antiperspirants cause or even increase a woman's risk for breast cancer. " For more information, we recommend you access the American Cancer Society Web site at www.cancer.org. I heard that there is an aluminum ingredient in antiperspirants that's been linked to Alzheimer's disease. Is this true? A review of current research on the subject has found no evidence of a proven link between the aluminum ingredient in antiperspirants and the causative agent of Alzheimer's Disease. In fact, aluminum, the third most common element on earth, is essentially found everywhere. Even our daily diet has some aluminum in it. Lady Speed Stick® antiperspirants are safe. In addition to our own stringent safety standards, Lady Speed Stick® products meet all applicable regulations and guidelines of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, European Union and governmental bodies around the world. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of all our products. So Its like what do you believe? sigh... **~~W~~** " Temptation can not take what you are not willing to give " --------------------------------- Need a quick answer?
