Guest guest
Hello All, First let me say it is a blessing to have found this group. I am the father of a two year old little girl who has been battling idiopathic infantile scoliosis since birth. My wife and I recently had her put in her first Risser/Mehta cast @ Shriner's Hospital in SC. My daughter's response has been fabulous! She is much more active, walking, talking and overall just seems to have a better attitude. We just got the first cast two weeks ago. Should we be on guard for anything like soreness, irritations etc..? Bathing is a challenge, but we try and make a game of it. Any suggestions would be appreciated as we are rookies at this!! Thanks.
