Guest guest
Hi Gil. We used cranial sacral therapy with our daughter Brielle starting at 4mos when we noticed plagio and tort, but were mild/moderate. We repositioned her did Physical therapy and cranial sacral therapy (one time a week) and were able to stay out of the band. You can check her out under Brielle B. She now goes to cranial sacral therapy one time a month. I do feel like the combination of everything helped alot. Good luck, Debbie and Brielle (10 mos repostioned)NJ > > I am looking to hear about your experiences with Cranial Sacral > therapy. Was it helpful? Guest guest
Hi! I live in Israel. All I keep hearing from the doctors is 'it will round out'... so I don't know what other options there are. I do know that they do not band in Israel. What other options are there? Thanks for your help. > > > > I am looking to hear about your experiences with Cranial Sacral > > therapy. Was it helpful? Did you see an improvement in your child's > > head shape? Guest guest
Hi Gil, Like Debbie, we did some cranial sacral work with our son at 6 mos, along with doing repo at home. We only went to a total of 5 cst sessions and now try doing it on our own. our cranial sacro therapist showed us how and we should probably go in for a consult soon. Our son is now 10 mos. The most improvement we saw was from 4 to 6 mos and after that perhaps there have been some subtle improvements, but it's hard to tell (that's why we need to go for an eval so they can take some measurements and we can get an impartial opinion). Our son was evalutated as mild brachy when we started with the cst. I am honestly not sure if it helps, but I know for sure that it doesn't hurt so I think it's worth doing. Am not sure if this helps. Anyway, our pix are under Jake K and Jake H and if you have any other questions, just let me know Best, (MD mom to Jake, 10 mos, brachy) From: "Deborah B" Subject: Re: Cranial Sacral TherapyHi Gil. Guest guest
Then unless you wish to travel for band therapy there aren't really any other options. I am so sorry. Guest guest
Hi! I took him to see a cranial sacral therapist and will be going again this week. Does anyone have any tips to get my very active 15 month old son to co-operate with the therapist? Thanks! Gil

Guest guest
Anyone have luck with cranial sacral therapy for pain? My OT tried it on me today. I'm not convinced that it is actually going to help but I'd be interested in hearing from someone who's tried it.
Guest guest
I have done cranial sacral therapies my whole life. We see a chiropractor regularly also and have had good luck. Merrill
Guest guest
Merrill, Do you remember if you had any problems in the beginning? Perhaps I should continue and see if things improve for me?
