Guest guest
Jolene, Remember that there are over 40 types/subtypes of CMT. I had the full DNA testing done, which all came back negative, but was diagnosed with a good neurologist, medical and family history, and the dreaded EMG testing. You may have a type of CMT that has just not been named or verified yet. Hang in there! Elaina.

Guest guest
Hi Jolene. I feel confusion is part of the game. You didn't say in you letter if you were checked for all CMT types. My first genetic test showed negative but I was only checked for Type 1 at that time. The next test I was checked for Type II and showed positive at that time. So maybe a diagnosis is still waiting on you. Wade
