Guest guest
Greg The detailed and honest report on your diet is a great first step. We (me too) should all be so honest! I believe you are on the right track with as much raw food as possible. The craving for junk sweets can be quickly addressed by substituting raw honey. It should reasonably satisfy your craving and also be valuable as a digestive aid and a source of nutrients (minerals and other as yet undefined goodies). It should be RAW & UNHEATED! Much value will be found in raw or lightly cooked meats. I have a feeling you have kept abreast of recent and not so recent posts on this subject. If not, please inquire and I or others on this list will regale you with realized benefits. There is a school of thought that some humans have developed the ability to somehow derive the necessary nutrients from cooked foods. My own experience has been that raw animal/vegetable foods (especially meats) have provided me with what, apparently, had been previously lacking in the cooked/processed foods.
