Guest guest
Hi Ali, I was reading your post concerning pain.I too had to actually break down to have someone take me seriously.I went to the Univ. of Mich. and that particular day, both my knees were swollen and had alot of fluid on them.Plus I had a constant pain in my right side high up which if I coughed or sneezed or turned onto my left side made me involentarily yell.Well the doc in traing was so crazed by my crying, she got the head of Rheumatology to come and look at me.He ended up admitting me and put me on 1000 mg of pred. by IV for 4 days.He also found out my side pain was a blood clot and I was put on a blood thinner. So long story longer,I think you do have to let the docs know how badly you hurt.It doesn't mean you're a baby,if you don't tell them they cannot read your mind. Please save yourself alot of bad days and tell all. love Elly
