Maybe not raising @%## but certainly teaching the public about autism and offering better ways to deal with such situations. I do have to say that we've always had very good experiences with American Airlines even when my son was not easily managed. In fact, they gave all three of us free tickets to fly to California to see Dr. Goldberg many years ago and treated us with so much respect and kindness. They totally went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taking care of. I do not think this is the norm for American but rather a lack of understanding with that particular crew. I wonder if the mother told the crew up front that her son was autistic and may be prone to outbursts especially when touched by strangers? Then again, there are always people in the world who won't understand or care no matter how much information you give them. Gaylen **************Gas prices getting you down?
