Guest guest
Hey, I'm all about humor and stress relief, but I don't think the intention of the email was to be humorous, and autism itself affects people of all religions and no religion. Can't we agree at least to be neutral when it comes to religion? Guest guest
I love it when people just tell me to relax when it comes to people shoving their religion in my face. When has religion ever cured autism? Can you name an instance? Never mind. I'm out. nshiblie wrote: Faith and God helps Relaxing a bit and cutting ur listmates a break helps too Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile

Guest guest
Unfortunately, (or fortunately depending on your point of view) this group doesn't really have any rules or guidelines to allow or not allow this type of thing. Nearly every online group such as this that I've ever been a part of has had a rule of NO politics or Religion, since these are topics that are almost always heated in discussion and opinions and flaming starts to happen. Anytime you bring a large number of people together for one cause there are bound to be many simliarities and differences among them, and most definately in the areas of religion or politics.... While I don't mind an occassional joke or inspirational message/story being sent to the group.... It is generally a good idea to edit out the parts that put pressure on people to forward the message on, this addition is what makes it considered a chain letter/message and really these have no use or purpose on any group. I hope that everyone can let this drop now and not let this take over the conversations on the group... there are much more important things for everyone to discuss rather than if you do or don't believe, or have faith etc. We all have our own opinions and are entitled to them, but to hash them out here is not going to do anyone any good. Just my 2 cents! Guest guest
Hi Guys  It was pretty obvious in the first line it was a religious thing so I am guessing everyone knew how to use the delete button. It was never intended to offend anyone so again my apologies for any offense but no apologies for my faith or being a christian.  There are some " silly " off topic emails sent here, but that's part of what I like about this group is that you can relax here & send some off topic stuff to provide some " comic relief " some of the time. If I don't want to read it, I just delete. I like the more relaxed atmosphere of this group, although, personally I don't like chain emails from anyone most of the time. Life isn't all about autism b/c we're in it for the long haul. I'm still TRYING not to let autism dominate my whole life.
